We have noticed, and applaud, the fact that the frugal movement, also tends to be a green movement as well. We tend to place a large emphasis on recycling, making do, and finding sources of clean, cheap, and renewable power. That is why, we think, our articles on making electricity at home always generate a lot of interest and feedback.

    This is interesting – different from the typical solar generator plans we’ve seen. I saw some plans for a small solar battery device that didn’t look too difficut to build. I wonder how this compares.

    Do you think I could do it? I can barely change a light bulb. I mean – I’d love to build something like this, but I’m a little nervous about it.
