Could you sit through the sales speech for free accomodations at a nice resort. Many timeshares offer trial stays, with all the perks, at their resorts. Could you stand spending an hour or two taking a tour and getting the hard sell in order to enjoy a stay? A new company called trooval offers this service. They list dozens of resorts all around the world that will let peope stay for free in exchange for a chance to market to them. The terms and considtions are state on their website when you look at the resort list.  The sales pitch is the catch, but if it is a catch you can live with, this may be a great opportunity to stay for free!

Buy From The Airlines

Go ahead and use the big travel sites to compare flights. But when you see a good offer, check the actual airline website. Many, but not all, airlines guarantee the best prices from their own website.

Couch Surfing

CouchSurfing.com is an international websites of people across the world. The basic idea is that you give members a bed (or sofa). In exchange, you earn a place to stay from other members. The company is promoted as a non-profit, though “donations” and identification verification are expected.
